One of my favorite scriptures is,

Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10)

Some of the other translations are: “Let go of your concerns and know that I am God”; “Rest in me and know that I am God”; “Be in awe and know that I am God.”  In this busy, sometimes challenging world, we are given an amazing place of Grace—a refuge of comfort, ease, rest, resurrection, and rejuvenation. Yet we have to be intentional and make a conscious decision to rest and be still in His presence.

As I am still in His presence (present, gift), I welcome the Holy Spirit to fill me, touch me, guide me, and love me. As I bask in the presence of His love, whatever challenges I am facing I can give to Him. And in that still space, that place imbued with the peace that passes all understanding, I can ask the Lord to show me what my next right action is. Profound gratitude arises for this intimate connection.

In our busy lives it is easy to question, “How can I find the time?” We have the most beautiful opportunity while alive to sit in the presence of the Creator of the universe. He is there just waiting for us to be still in His presence and to know Him at a deeper level. What are you waiting for?

Love to all,
