Whether you feel it or not you, regardless of your circumstances, if you woke up this morning you are blessed. God’s Word so clearly directs us to how to walk in the blessings of the Lord. In fact, over 300 times the Bible talks about blessings. Yet God has a higher plan than just giving us everything we want. He blesses us to be a blessing. So use the following resources to renew your mind, to expand your horizons and to ignite your faith to all the blessings God has for you. Then, by praying and studying you can learn how to receive them. Will you still face challenges? Of course you will. Yet even in those God will bring blessings.
Blessing Prayer and Confession of Faith
Father God, Holy Spirit and Lord Jesus what an awesome God you are-a God of wonder, a God who loves to bless. Father, I thank You that we are the recipient of Your lavish love. Thank you for the blessing in the beauty of nature. Thank you that you bless us with Your grace that forgives all of our sins. Thank you for the blessing of life and for each breath.
We release our faith right now in the name of Jesus that we are blessed coming in and blessed going out, that Your favor surrounds us like a shield. Thank you that You call us a people that God has richly blessed and that our blessings will be for a lifetime. Thank you, Lord, that we are Your precious children and on our own we can receive none of Your gifts. Help us and show us how to receive all You have for us and how to bless others with it. Lord, we give You our will and our lives. Bless our words, thoughts, deeds and actions that we may be blessed, be a blessing, and glorify You in all things. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
