Out of the darkness the sky danced alive with an arc of rainbow light.  The storm became a palette to pour out technicolor wonder.

Perhaps this is what God does in our own lives.  The challenges or the storms are not the feature but the canvas for something beautiful to shine through.  I truly believe that there lives an inherent gift in every challenge.

Yet, we always have a choice.  We can look at the storm or look to God, the one who pours out glorious light with a kiss of unending grace.

There is beauty in the storm and blessing in the challenge because of God’s great love for us.

James 1:17 expresses this so beautifully, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

So dear one where are you looking today?  May you notice the beauty of God’s grace wherever you find yourself.
